A community of magical practice
At Willwork Academy, you join a team of practitioners who share our years of experience transforming ourselves and our reality through will, ritual, and symbol. Whether you call that magic (or magick), willwork, witchcraft, sorcery, vodoun, applied quantum hijinks, brujeria, mojo, or just that thing we do consciously that most people do unconsciously–here we figure out what works, what sometimes works, and what emphatically doesn’t. We share that information with each other with respect for each others’ practices and beliefs. We practice humility, because we’ve outgrown our edgelord phase, if we ever had one. We all come to learn and transform–because if we’re not here to change, what are we even doing here at all?
No Experts, No Newbies
Wicca 101 types, we find, aren’t ready to wrestle with these topics. Likewise, self-styled grand high archpanjandrums have no interest; why ask questions when they know everything already? That is why we have an application process–no one wants to hear the same basic questions over and over again, and no one wants to hear some ascended master gloating incessantly either. Our discussion forums are moderated with an eye to fostering productive and respectful inquiry focused on topics, not personalities.
Resources
We are building a rich library of resources on topics ranging from advanced neurothaumatology to medieval grimoires, including articles, ebooks, and video and audio lectures. These are all here for our members to make use of, and contribute to as well.

Mentorship and Accountability
We’ve all struggled at times to maintain a practice in the face of daily demands. Sometimes we’re not sure if we’re on the trail of a useful piece of gnosis or spiralling out the window of the Tower. Make a friend, run an idea by someone more experienced, check yourself before you wreck yourself, or join a challenge to learn to read and write ancient Sumerian in three months. Get more done without going crazy with the buddy system.
